Distinctive School
In 2013 Leda Education Support Centre was awarded Distinctive School status. Our use of assessment in profiling the learning and support needs of students has been recognised, along with our special education knowledge, skills and understandings. Through our hard work and dedication our school has now been granted TDS status (Teacher Development School). With this new recognition we have received further funding so our staff can upskill teachers in the surrounding community.
Our role is to identify and co-ordinate our expertise and resources across schools, networks and education regions to support schools and teachers to build their capacity to meet the needs of students with disability in public schools.
